Faerie Favours design prototype
The Inception of Faerie Favours
Fairie favours began during a series of discussions in the warmth of late summer about Harlequin Emit's preference in board games which led Harlequin Adam to design a game her picky brain would enjoy. By exploring less common themes and avoiding the usual gaming tropes Adam hoped Emit may enjoy this board game.

A short time later this plan was developed in a labour of love by Harlequin Emit, Who created an art style and an incredibly good (if rather short on cards and mechanics) prototype of the game for her Masters in illustration at the University of Creative Arts.

We have since written & Illustrated 400 new cards 200 of which have become a part of the retail copy of Faerie favours
The Charachters of Faerie Favours
These characters are based upon the players from our Billy Shakespeare's; A Midsummer Nights Dream

Nick Bottom: Me, a fantastic example of manhood and an exemplar actor to boot, I was abducted from my bed whilst innocently minding my own business, well that is my story....., and its true

Robin Starveling: A Tailor, poverty stricken, so some elves made her clothes to sell... then when she did, they kidnapped her of course.
Tom Snout: A Tinker, a mischievous Puck spooked him down a rabbit hole into Faerieland, Why? best ask him really!
Snug: A Joiner, an earnest woman no one knows how she ended up in fairyland, but its likely that she ate too many apples for the elves to forgive.
Peter Quince: A Carpenter, soft spoken and somewhat bookish he opened a portal whilst reading a fairy-tale. IDIOT!
The Aesthetic Influences of Faerie Favours
Robin starveling: a tailor, poverty stricken Elves made her some clothes to sell then whe she took them they kidnapped her
Emit will write something here about the aesthetic inspirations for elements of the game, but you know Faeries, Sealy, Masks, Mortals, Fate....all that sort of stuff.

Adam here; My favourite Faerie Favours are a bit goofy, a bit funny and lots of laughs for example this Favour which turns my face into a candlestick.

Puck now, My favourite favours are those that change the limbs or body parts into Steampunk stuff, some of them can be OP but the game testing we are doing will iron that out so fear not you beautiful people.
The Faeries of Faerie Favours
Puck likes all faeries...I am a pucking Faerie after all; however Oberon can be a pain in the arse at times, and Titania is a little odd, but being half Russian explains that rather easily!
